Documentation · Chapter 09

Describe an interface in PHP.

AML View is PHPAML's optional declarative frontend. PHP produces the first document; the browser then updates supported interactions locally.

Every lesson starts from the problem, explains the mechanism, then gives a concrete verification.

A blueprint, not assembled HTML

Think of View as an architect's plan: VStack, Text, Button, Form, and Section describe relationships. The renderer turns that plan into semantic HTML.

View and Engine have different jobs

View defines and renders the interface. Engine runs signed state updates, events, effects, collections, and navigation in the browser. Backend calls remain explicit.

Create the project

create-view installs the template, View, and Engine. --empty removes the demonstration content but keeps the valid structure.
