Documentation · Chapter 17

Publish and verify a search-ready page.

This workshop configures a bilingual guide, generates files, audits the deployed URL, and records its indexing baseline.

Every lesson starts from the problem, explains the mechanism, then gives a concrete verification.

LESSON OBJECTIVE

What you will be able to do

Publish one bilingual page and verify its content, status, metadata, discovery files, and indexing baseline.

Configure the guide

Set base URL, title, description, image, locale, and routes. Add equivalent English and French canonicals and alternates.

phpaml — zsh
aml seo:generate
aml build
# deploy, then:
aml seo:audit https://example.com/guide

Generate and deploy

Generate, inspect the XML and robots text, build, deploy, then audit the public URL rather than only localhost.

Verify as a crawler and a person

Fetch with a normal browser and a crawler user agent, confirm HTTP 200 and visible content, then record Search Console state and date.

CHECKPOINT

Before you continue

Was the public deployed URL audited and fetched, or did verification stop at localhost and generated files?

SUMMARY

What to remember

  • Discovery, crawling, indexing, and ranking are different stages.
  • Metadata supports useful content; it does not replace it.
  • robots.txt is guidance, never access control.
  • Audit the deployed page and measure indexing separately from visits.
